It has been a long time coming but finally the masters of ancient metal, MOUNTAIN THRONE have started recording their second full length for a winter release through Rafchild Records (CD) and Journey's End Records (LP). The album title has been decided on as "The Silver Light". Expect ten new tracks of heavy metal, unapologetically ancient in spirit but fresh in execution and stay tuned for the revelation of cover and tracklist very soon. The band had this to say: "The time for a new full-length album from Mountain Throne is finally here. Seven sparkling songs of ancient Heavy Metal as well as three instrumentals will be released under the title "The Silver Light" later this year. We are immensely proud to announce that we teamed up with Rafchild Records, a very fitting match in many respects! Quality labels run by great people (and friends, hi Raf!) with encyclopaedic Heavy Metal knowledge, good taste in music and tons of passion are what the world needs. Being who we are, there will of course be a Vinyl-LP edition as well, that one will be made by our buddy Martin of Journey's End records."
